Job Description

Part-Time Construction & Landscape Technician (1099 Contractor) Inheritance Construction is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to assist with a variety of outdoor construction and landscape projects throughout the Chattanooga area. This is a part-time, independent contractor (1099) position with flexible hours based on workload. Additional opportunities may become available as the company continues to grow. Responsibilities Sod installation Grading and site preparation Running a grade rod (grade stick) for excavator operator Shoveling and hand grading Landscape installation Loading and unloading materials Operating hand tools and power equipment General job site cleanup Assisting with excavation, drainage, and land improvement projects Other outdoor construction and property improvement tasks as needed Qualifications Dependable and punctual Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Able to lift 75 pounds Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and take direction Experience operating skid steers, excavators, or other construction equipment is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual. We place a higher value on someone who is dependable, works hard, and takes pride in doing quality work than on previous experience.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
