Job Description
Description Position Overview EnterSource is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer - Fiber Puller to support fiber optic installation projects. This role is responsible for assisting with the placement, pulling, and routing of fiber optic cable in both aerial and underground environments. This position requires travel as needed based on project locations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and ready to work in a fast-paced field environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with pulling, placing, and securing fiber optic cables through conduit, vaults, handholes, and aerial pathways Support directional drilling and trenching crews as needed Set up and maintain safe job sites, including traffic control and equipment staging Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Operate basic hand tools and power tools Follow construction prints and verbal instructions from supervisors Maintain clean and organized job sites Adhere strictly to company safety policies and OSHA guidelines Travel to job sites as required Perform other general labor duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Prior construction or utility experience preferred (fiber experience a plus) Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks Willingness and ability to travel as needed for project assignments Willingness to work overtime when required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Strong work ethic and reliability Preferred Skills Experience in telecommunications or fiber optic construction Familiarity with conduit systems, handholes, and aerial installations Basic understanding of construction site safety Ability to work effectively as part of a team Work Environment Outdoor construction sites Exposure to varying weather conditions Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion Travel may be required depending on project location Why Join EnterSource?
