Job Description

Job Title:
Construction Laborer SWS is a specialty construction company that focuses on commercial and residential water storage solutions, including rainwater harvesting and fire protection. We are the authorized dealer in Central Texas for CorGal® galvanized steel tanks and TimberTanks®. Both of these brands represent premium quality that has been established through exceptional engineering, resulting in a "Who's Who" customer list that includes YETI, Tito's Vodka, Whole Foods, Toyota, and Harley Davidson, amongst others. Our tanks range from 500 gallons to over 650,000 gallons. We are the respected leader in this industry, and our reputation is well established with architects, engineers, general contractors, fire marshals, and others who specify water storage tanks for their projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor
  • Load and unload materials and equipment at the construction site
  • Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Work inside of water tanks (confined space)
  • Willingness to climb 20'
  • 30' ladders and work safely from them
  • Dig trenches, pour concrete, lay PVC pipe
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in all weather conditions
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel out of town and sometimes out of state 1-2 times per month

From $18.00 per hour
