General Contractor Location:
Brownsville, TX & Edinburg, TXCompany:

Starting Pay:
$750 per week (Higher compensation available based on experience, qualifications, and proven performance.) Position Overview Valley Construction Associates is seeking two motivated and experienced General Construction Superintendents / General Contractors to oversee the construction of 14 new residential homes in Brownsville and Edinburg, Texas. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality homes, managing subcontractors efficiently, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. We are looking for individuals who are organized, dependable, and capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day construction activities of multiple residential homes. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections. Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet construction deadlines. Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control. Verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Order and monitor materials to prevent project delays. Conduct regular site inspections and identify issues before they become problems. Communicate project progress with company management. Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe. Review completed work prior to inspections and homeowner walkthroughs. Resolve construction issues quickly and professionally. Qualifications Experience supervising residential construction projects. Strong knowledge of all phases of home construction. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Reliable transportation. Ability to work independently while managing multiple job sites. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
