Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record for truck driving duties.
Requirements:
Ability to operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks safely and effectively.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings related to underground utilities.
Familiarity with utility trenching, sewer line installation, plumbing systems, oil & gas pipelines, and underground utility installation projects.
Understanding of safety regulations including federal construction safety standards and safety protocol adherence on job sites.
Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and concrete forming tasks.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and interpreting technical instructions.
Duties:
Assist with trenching and excavation activities for underground utility installations using heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and front loader trucks.
Operate and maintain construction equipment including pipe lasers, forklifts, and other hand tools to ensure efficient workflow.
Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately install sewer lines, water systems, stormwater systems, and sanitary sewers.
Locate existing underground utilities using utility locating tools to prevent damage during excavation activities.
Perform concrete finishing and forming tasks for utility structures as required on site.
Install pipes according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment with pipe lasers and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following federal construction safety regulations and safety regulations specific to pipeline projects.
