This role involves assisting with roadway marking and striping operations on highways, roads, and parking lots. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, able to work in outdoor environments, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting. Responsibilities Assist with highway and roadway striping operations, including paint and thermoplastic application Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites Set up and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites and equipment Follow all safety procedures and traffic control regulations Work as part of a crew under supervision of a Foreman or Crew Lead Perform general labor duties as assigned Requirements Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed Valid driver's license preferred (CDL is a plus but not required) Ability to follow instructions and work safely in highway traffic environments Prior construction or roadway experience is a plus, but not required (training provided) Preferred Qualifications Experience in highway striping, road construction, or general labor Familiarity with traffic control and roadway safety practices Ability to operate or learn to operate striping and pavement marking equipment Work Environment Outdoor work in high-traffic roadway environments Exposure to weather conditions, noise, and moving traffic Requires standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive physical activity
