Pipe Layer:

Assists in excavation, backfill, and compaction for pipeline construction; Manages, Moves, Stacks materials; Installs pipe, maintains site; Operates small equipment such as water pumps. Performs fire watch. Must have 2 years experience.

Physical Demands :

Requires full range of body motion including handling and operating various hand tools and equipment, eye-hand coordination. Regularly requires standing and bending over for extensive periods of time. Requires reaching, crawling, climbing, grasping, kneeling, squatting and twisting. Often requires lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs. Also requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions. Appropriate PPE required including but not limited to vests, hard hats, steel toe work boots, safety glasses, hearing protection.

Typical Working Conditions :

Skilled Construction Laborer position requires Frequent exposure to rain, dust, mud, heat, cold, noise, vibration and other conditions common to a construction site.
