Full Job Description Schedule:

M-F 6:30am-3:00pm We are seeking multiple reliable candidates to join our field operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe installation, precision testing, maintenance, and removal of underground storage tank systems, petroleum piping, and containment structures. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to strict environmental compliance and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities Installation & Assembly:

Position, anchor, and secure USTs and associated double-walled piping systems according to manufacturer and engineering specifications.

Site Preparation:

Assist with site excavation, grading, and utilizing approved bedding and backfill materials (such as pea gravel or crushed stone).

Testing & Compliance:

Perform structural tightness tests, precision air/hydrostatic testing on piping, and verify that electronic leak detection sensors operate correctly.

Maintenance & Repair:

Retrofit, upgrade, and repair existing fuel systems, dispensers, sumps, and secondary containment structures.

Documentation:

Complete daily field logs, manufacturer checklists, and regulatory compliance paperwork accurately.

Required Qualifications Experience:

1-2 years of experience in UST installation, commercial plumbing, utility pipe-laying, or heavy civil construction preferred.

Certifications:

Current manufacturer certifications for major tank and piping brands (e.g., Xerxes, Containment Solutions, Franklin Fueling, or OPW) are highly preferred.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in outdoor weather conditions, and comfortably navigate construction environments.

Work Ethic:

This position requires hard work in an outdoor environment with the opportunity to move up to management/supervisor positions.
