This job is in Slaton, TX. Employee must have access to reliable transportation. Job Description MGR Workforce is hiring Construction Laborers for a railroad construction project in Slaton, TX . This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a construction crew. Previous railroad construction experience is a strong asset, but candidates with general construction labor experience are also encouraged to apply. This position follows a rotating schedule of 10 consecutive workdays followed by 4 days off , with 8 to 10-hour day shifts . Schedule Day Shift 8 to 10 hours per day Rotating schedule: 10 consecutive days worked 4 consecutive days off Repeat rotation Responsibilities Assist with railroad construction and maintenance activities. Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment. Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and site cleanup. Assist skilled crew members with track installation, repairs, and related work. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies. Perform other general labor duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous railroad construction experience is considered a strong asset. General construction labor experience is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments. Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Reliable transportation to the work site. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
