2997544598-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Join Lamar Advertising Company's Billboard Construction Crew and help build the structures behind high-visibility outdoor and digital campaigns. In this field-based role, you'll install, repair, and maintain billboards and digital displays, working outdoors in varying weather and at significant heights. Daily tasks include loading materials, operating lifts, using hand and power tools, and ensuring structures and lighting are safe and secure. You'll follow detailed work orders, meet tight deadlines, and uphold strict safety standards while collaborating closely with a tight-knit local crew in a culture built on integrity, accountability, and community. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and dismantle traditional and digital billboards using hand and power tools Load, transport, and position materials, hardware, and structural components safely at job sites Climb structures, operate lifts, and work at heights while following all safety regulations and PPE standards Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning on billboard faces, structures, and lighting systems Read and follow work orders, site plans, and diagrams to ensure accurate placement and quality standards Inspect structures, hardware, and electrical components to identify damage or hazards and report issues promptly Operate company vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company safety policies Collaborate with crew members, supervisors, and sales/operations teams to meet install deadlines and customer expectations Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and any field changes Participate in ongoing safety meetings, training, and certifications to support a zero-incident culture Required Skills Construction and carpentry basics Working safely at heights and fall protection Use of hand and power tools Aerial lift and bucket truck operation Basic rigging and material handling Reading site plans and work orders Outdoor sign or structure installation Electrical basics for lighting and digital displays Vehicle and equipment safety Jobsite documentation and reporting
