Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Solar General Laborer and be a vital part of advancing renewable energy solutions! In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of photovoltaic (solar) systems on commercial and residential sites. Your hands-on work will help bring clean energy projects to life, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step. Responsibilities Assist with photovoltaic system installation, including mounting panels and fixtures on roofs and ground-mounted sites Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to perform construction tasks Read electrical blueprints and schematics to support electrical wiring and component placement Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify system faults or issues in photovoltaic setups Follow electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Support commercial electrician teams with low voltage and high voltage electrical work, ensuring proper wiring and connections Perform routine inspections of installed systems for quality assurance and compliance with electrical safety standards Requirements Prior experience working as a solar technician or in electrical construction is highly preferred Knowledge of electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and troubleshooting electrical systems Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other electrical diagnostic equipment safely Experience with roofing or construction site work is a plus, especially outdoor work environments Strong understanding of photovoltaic system installation processes and related electrical work Valid construction experience with an emphasis on electrical safety and equipment handling Join us in powering a sustainable future!
