Construction Laborer Job Description We are seeking dedicated construction laborers to perform painting, carpentry, electrical, and basic remodeling tasks. The role involves preparing trailer homes and modular offices for companies renting them for construction sites or various uses. Candidates must work independently and take ownership of their daily duties. Responsibilities Complete painting, carpentry, electrical, and basic remodeling tasks. Prepare trailer homes and modular offices for rental use. Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to strict safety policies. Perform cleanup and prepare for daily tasks after safety meetings. Work independently to manage and complete assigned tasks. Essential Skills Experience in construction, remodeling, handyman, or make-ready maintenance. Proficiency with basic hand tools including band saw, nail gun, hammer, tape measure, cordless drill, and pliers. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Skill in reading tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in roofing, flooring, siding, drywall installation, concrete, or carpentry work. Reliable transportation. Work Environment The position is based at a large outdoor commercial site in Pflugerville, Texas, where mobile offices and construction trailers are refurbished. The environment is fast-paced with a hardworking crew focused on refurbishing tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pflugerville, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
