Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Roofing Helper and be a vital part of delivering high-quality roofing projects! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems. Your enthusiasm and commitment to safety will help ensure efficient job site operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the roofing industry. Responsibilities Assist roofing crews with the installation, repair, and maintenance of different roofing systems, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile laying Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support roofing tasks Set up ladders and scaffolding securely, adhering to all ladder use safety protocols Follow construction plans and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Maintain a clean and organized work site, including proper disposal of debris and materials Support heavy lifting activities for materials such as shingles, metal panels, or insulation components Adhere strictly to construction safety harnesses, workplace safety regulations, and safety protocol adherence at all times Requirements Prior construction or outdoor work experience is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and general construction workplace safety regulations Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic blueprint reading skills Experience with roofing repair, siding installation, stucco application, or remodeling projects is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling tasks Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred Strong attention to safety protocols including construction site safety regulations and interpreting technical drawings Embark on a rewarding career journey where your contributions directly impact the quality of our projects!
