•No Third Party Recruitment agency is needed for this position•Job Summary ZA Construction is looking for a dedicated Railroad Laborer. Salary is commensurate with experience. Must be able to work Monday - Friday (full-time and some overtime) and be available to work on weekends/holidays when necessary. Must be able to travel out of state as needed (transportation provided). Duties/Responsibilities Must be able work in harsh weather conditions as well as rough terrain. Must be physically able to climb on and under railroad cars or other equipment. Must be physically able to withstand extensive standing, stooping, kneeling and repeated pushing / pulling motions Knows and adheres to all safety guidelines of construction industry Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. May operate construction equipment including excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, track dumps, off road dumps, motor graders, material handling trucks, etc. Requires Clean MVR, Requires pre-employment Background check and Drug Screen. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Must be highly dependable and available for emergency calls. Must have reliable transportation to and from Sinton, TX Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities a plus! Railroad Experience ( preferred) Salary is commensurate with experience.
