Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Flooring prep Laborer and be a vital part of transforming spaces with expert flooring installations! In this energetic role, you will assist with the preparation, installation, and finishing of various flooring materials, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and safety. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating beautiful, durable surfaces that enhance our clients' environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while working on diverse projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Assist in the preparation of work sites by measuring, leveling, and cleaning surfaces to ensure optimal flooring adhesion and finish. Install a variety of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and cork. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and securing flooring components Perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials, moving equipment, and handling building materials with proper safety procedures. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and clean up. Maintain a clean work environment by buffing floors post-installation and performing routine floor care to preserve quality over time. Requirements construction site experience with a focus on flooring installation. willingness to learn or Knowledge of flooring prep, tear out, & leveling. installation of wood flooring. Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, as well as power tools is a bonus or willing to learn. Commitment to be a team player & willingness to learn. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
