Job Description
$20 to $23 an hour W-2 with weekly pay, full-time Monday to Friday with overtime available. Skillforce is hiring a construction laborer to assist the carpenters on an active campus in Blacksburg, VA. This is hands-on site work, moving material, cleanup, and helping the crew keep the job moving each day. Pay and Schedule $20 to $23 per hour W-2, based on experience Weekly pay sent straight to you by direct deposit Full-time, Monday to Friday on a day shift Overtime available during busy stretches No nights or weekends on the standard schedule Responsibilities Assist the carpenters with hands-on site work Move and stage material, lumber, and hand tools Load and haul debris and keep the whole site clear Basic measuring, cutting, and layout support Keep all work areas clean, safe, and organized Qualifications Must have steel-toed boots, gloves, and glasses Reliable transportation and driver's license Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet Comfortable working on an active construction site Must pass a pre-employment background check Benefits Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision available PTO and paid holidays 401(k) Referral bonus program #GEN
