Job Description

Job Overview The Construction Laborer performs a variety of general labor and construction tasks to support the crew and keep job sites safe, clean, and productive. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, physically capable, willing to learn, and comfortable working outdoors and in changing conditions. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including unloading materials and preparing work areas Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and efficiently Assist with concrete cutting and pour back, carpentry work and other general construction. Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Follow instructions from foremen, field managers, and other supervisors. Communicate effectively with foremen and field managers regarding job-site activities, tasks, and project needs. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites or in related roles with a solid understanding of construction processes Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately for various tasks such as formwork construction or rebar installation Experience operating power tools, concrete mixers, concrete cutting equipment, and other hand tools safely Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring stamina over extended periods Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills like metal stud framing or tile laying This is a hands-on construction position that may require working outdoors in various weather conditions. The job may involve lifting heavy materials, working around concrete and construction equipment, and performing physically demanding tasks. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
