Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Flooring Laborer and take part in transforming spaces through expert flooring installation. This position offers the opportunity to work on residential and commercial renovations. If you enjoy hands-on work and wish to develop your skills in construction and flooring, this role is perfect for you! Paid training is provided to help you learn the trade with high quality craftmanship. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and layout of flooring materials. Operate hand tools and power tools to install various types of flooring including LVP, vinyl, VCT, hardwood, and carpet. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and furniture. Aid in the installation of trim carpentry, caulking, and vinyl cove base as finishing work that is needed for flooring projects. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored. Skills Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and saws. Strong manual handling skills. Knowledge of various flooring types is helpful, but not required. Additional skills such as carpentry background are highly valued.
