Job Description

The Anderson Company, LLC , a site development company for over 30 years is seeking a Spotter/Laborer to assist with daily operations on an excavation and construction site. This position will primarily involve spotting trucks and heavy equipment, assisting with traffic and equipment movement, and performing general labor duties as needed. Responsibilities Spot trucks, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment to help maintain a safe work area. Guide equipment operators when backing, maneuvering, loading, or unloading. Flag traffic and equipment when needed. Maintain awareness of workers, equipment, vehicles, and changing site conditions. Assist with general excavation and construction labor as needed. Perform cleanup, material handling, shoveling, raking, and other basic labor tasks. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow all company safety policies and instructions from supervisors and equipment operators. Communicate clearly with operators, coworkers, and supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous construction, excavation, or labor experience preferred but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Good communication and situational awareness. Must be willing to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team. OSHA or flagger training is a plus, but can be provided if needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed. Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods. Ability to work around heavy equipment, trucks, dust, noise, and changing site conditions. By applying for this position, you acknowledge that commuting to our jobsites is part of the role.
