Mechanicsville, VA Job Details Temporary $20 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Maintaining an organized workspace Construction plans Blueprint dimension interpretation Manual assembly Ability to follow instructions Assembly drawings Clean workspace maintenance Safety standard operating procedures Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking 2 motivated and dependable Manual Laborer to join our team this Saturday, October 10th, 2026 from 10am to 6pm. This hands-on role involves performing a variety of physical tasks that involves us assembling a 20x20 Heavy Duty Portable Carport/Garage that features Roll-up Windows & Doors, Portable Garage with UV Resistant Waterproof All-Season Tarp. The ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety while contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on diverse job sites. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades and gain valuable construction experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with building constructing the portable carport/garage. Follow detailed constructing plans and technical drawings to ensure the accurate assembly of the portable carport/garage. Maintaining a clean & organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of constructing principles, estimating, inspection, and interpreting assembly plans. Ability to read assembly instructions/plans and follow the plans accurately. Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform strenuous tasks throughout the day. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance and quality standards.
