Continental Pools, a leading pool management and maintenance company, is hiring an experienced, hands-on Pool Construction Technician / Crew Lead for our commercial construction team. You'll work side by side with our Construction Manager on pool renovations and repairs for clients across Southeastern Virginia, from Hampton Roads to Richmond. This is a full-time, year-round role based out of our Newport News office. What You'll Do You'll run the job on site and see pool construction and repair projects through to completion, including: Filter systems Coping stone replacement Tile replacement Resurfacing Structural repair Pool deck replacement Caulking Safety pool covers Job-site safety Quality control, and more ⭐ Who We're Looking For Pool construction experience Background in PVC piping, tile work, and/or concrete and masonry (strongly preferred) A natural leader who's reliable, punctual, and takes ownership Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Great customer service skills ✅ Minimum Qualifications 2 years of construction experience (preferred) English (required) Valid driver's license and clean driving record (mandatory) High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Physical Requirements Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull 20/60/80 lbs Move safely over uneven terrain Bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently Walk, stand, and move about continuously Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs Work outdoors in all weather conditions What You'll Get Pay based on experience, paid bi-weekly Full-time, year-round work (no seasonal layoffs) Medical and dental through our corporate benefits package 401(k) after your first year Paid time off Company vehicle during business hours Ready to build something great?
