Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and become a vital part of building excellence! In this energetic role, you'll be actively involved in various on-site tasks that bring construction projects to life. From assisting with concrete work to handling heavy lifting and operating power tools, your contribution will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting the creation of durable, high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to shape durable foundations and structures. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution. Set up formwork and rebar installation according to construction plans, ensuring stability and safety. Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete pumps, and other equipment safely and effectively on-site. Support carpentry tasks such as metal stud framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and plastering. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for renovation, stucco application, caulking, and other finishing work. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site safety regulations. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret blueprint specifications accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumping equipment safely. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, concrete finishing techniques, and drywall installation. Pay:
$25.60 - $30.83 per hour Expected hours: 19.0 - 36.0 per week
