•Small, established construction company in Powhatan, VA is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team. We've been serving the area for 25+ years and specialize in grading, excavation, drainage, hauling, and heavy equipment operation. This is a hands-on position working directly alongside an experienced operator . No day is exactly the same, and you'll have the opportunity to learn valuable construction and equipment skills. This position is ideal for a young, active person looking to learn a trade and make great money. What you'll do: Assist with grading, digging, drainage, hauling, and site preparation Load and unload materials and equipment Use hand tools such as shovels and rakes Help operate and maintain equipment as you gain experience Keep tools and equipment clean and cared for Follow all safety procedures What we're looking for: 18+ with a valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable, punctual, and willing to work Physically capable of demanding outdoor work Good attitude and strong work ethic Willingness to learn Construction experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person Heavy equipment experience is a plus

Pay:
