In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, assisting skilled tradespeople in executing various construction tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to efficient project completion and a safe work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple construction disciplines while working on diverse projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks like framing, drywall installation, plastering, and stucco application Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other equipment safely and effectively Assist with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete curing processes Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on-site Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of heavy machinery operation such as concrete mixers and power tools Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in areas like metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, drywall finishing, caulking, and renovation projects Join our team today to build a rewarding career in construction!
