at Kamco Supply Corp of Boston in Williston, Vermont, United States Job Description Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is New England's largest one stop source and distributor of commercial building products including acoustical ceiling systems, architectural doors and hardware, drywall, steel framing, insulation, and exterior systems. We are seeking to add Laborers to our team. The Laborer supports warehouse and delivery operations by assisting with the handling, movement, storage, and delivery of building materials. This role works closely with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient loading/unloading, order fulfillment, and inventory organization. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and productivity in both indoor and outdoor environments. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, physically capable, and interested in supporting warehouse logistics and construction material distribution. The position offers the opportunity to learn equipment operation and building material handling while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Delivery & Job Site Support Assist drivers with loading and unloading construction materials at job sites and warehouse locations Guide equipment operators using verbal communication or hand signals when visibility is limited. Move, push, or pull materials into proper placement at delivery locations Remove materials from delivery equipment (e.g., crane forks) and transport them as directed by drivers or site personnel Help secure loads for transport to ensure safety and compliance Maintain clean and safe work areas at job sites and during deliveries Warehouse Operations Receive, sort, and store materials in racks, shelves, or bins based on designated systems (size, type, etc.) Pull and prepare materials according to customer orders, transfers, and delivery schedules Assemble and stage orders for customer pickup and delivery Load materials onto trucks accurately and efficiently Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed Maintain overall warehouse organization, ensuring materials are properly stored and aisles remain clean and accessible Assist with inventory control and general housekeeping duties
