Location:
Auburn, WA (field work throughout surrounding areas) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Septic Install Laborer to join our Install Team. This is a heavy labor position involving excavation support, pipe installation, tank placement, and general field construction work, including driving company vehicles. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well outdoors in all weather conditions, maintains strong attendance, follows direction well, and is eager to learn septic system installation techniques in a fast-paced field environment. Required Qualifications Valid Washington State driver's license with 3+ years of verifiable driving history (learner's permit time excluded) Must meet company and insurance carrier Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards and be insurable under the company's commercial auto policy No DUIs, DWIs, or license suspensions within the past 5 years (per insurance carrier requirements) Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check in accordance with applicable law Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy and applicable laws Ability to perform heavy, physically demanding manual labor , including lifting, digging, trenching, and working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment used in septic system installation Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to follow direction and learn in a field environment Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with installation of septic systems including excavation support, pipe installation, tank placement, and drain field construction per permits and local regulations Perform heavy manual labor including digging, trenching, grading, lifting, and material handling on active job sites Support lead installers and crew members in daily field operations and follow direction from supervisors and foremen Prepare job sites before installation and complete cleanup, backfilling, and site restoration after work is completed Operate, maintain, and clean tools, equipment, and materials used in septic installation; report maintenance needs as required Follow all safety protocols including trench safety, excavation procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, or jobsite concerns immediately Work efficiently in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity standards Work effectively as part of a crew and maintain reliability, accountability, and strong attendance Follow company procedures, regulatory requirements, and direction from leadership Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion Benefits Medical insurance (starting at $25.00 bi-weekly employee contribution) Dental insurance (available after 2 months) Vision insurance (available after 2 months) $25,000 company-paid life insurance Supplemental insurance options (Aflac, disability, critical illness, accident, etc.) 401(k) with 4% company match Paid sick leave (accrues from day one; usable after 90 days) Paid time off (40 hours at 1 year, increasing with tenure) 6 paid holidays (after 6 months) New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Veterans Day paid holiday for veterans/active military (after 6 months) Employee discount program Referral bonus program Professional development opportunities Pet insurance (optional) Schedule 8+ hour shifts Monday through Friday (schedule may vary based on business needs) Overtime available as needed On-call rotation may be required Requirements Valid driver's license (required) Ability to commute to Auburn, WA (required) Must be able to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditionsNotes:
