Project Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Laborer with a strong background in deck and railing installation . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both wood and composite materials, a solid understanding of construction best practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the construction and installation of decks, patios, and railing systems Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials Measure, cut, and assemble decking and railing materials accurately Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time Perform site preparation and cleanup before, during, and after installations Maintain a safe and organized work environment Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies Communicate with site supervisors regarding project status and material needs
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in construction, carpentry, or deck/railing installation Proficient with tools such as saws, drills, levels, and measuring equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with composite decking brands (e.g., Trex, TimberTech, etc.) Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Benefits (if applicable): [Health insurance]
