As a Groundsman/Equipment Operator , you'll be responsible for safely and professionally pruning trees to improve their health, appearance, and structural integrity while providing exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities 1. Operate chippers and safely buck logs and limbs. 2. Follow proper chainsaw handling procedures and keep saws out of the dirt. 3. Maintain an "Arbor Care Clean" job site from start to finish. 4. Communicate effectively with crew members using radios, hand signals, and company technology. 5. Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment. 6. Wear required PPE and maintain constant awareness of job site hazards. 7. Help ensure every crew member returns home safely each day. What Success Looks Like Trees are pruned with precision, improving health, safety, and aesthetics. Jobs are completed efficiently without compromising safety or quality. Crew communication is proactive and effective throughout every project. Equipment is maintained and cared for to minimize downtime. Customers are delighted with the finished product and professionalism of the crew. Every team member goes home safely at the end of the day.

Qualifications :

Previous Tree trimming or tree climbing experienced preferred. Valid driver's license (able to meet insurance requirements) Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Tree care or landscaping experience is a plus but not required - we're willing to train the right person Strong & Warm People Skills - working with both customers and employees Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
