Starting at $18.00 per hour for entry-level applicants, with higher pay based on experience, skills, reliability, and qualifications
Schedule:
On-call, part-time, or approximately 30-40 hours per week, depending on the applicant's availability, qualifications, and current workload Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking General Laborer to assist with a variety of property maintenance and improvement projects. Work may include general labor, painting, landscaping, cleanup, basic repairs, and other hands-on duties based on current project needs. This is a versatile position suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in completing tasks properly, and is willing to help wherever needed. Available hours may range from occasional or on-call assignments to approximately 30-40 hours per week. Most work will be performed in Marysville, although occasional travel to nearby communities such as Everett and Arlington may be required. Duties Perform general labor and assist with property maintenance and improvement projects Complete interior and exterior painting preparation, painting, and cleanup Assist with landscaping, yard cleanup, grounds maintenance, and debris removal Perform basic repairs and routine maintenance based on experience and qualifications Prepare, clean, and organize jobsites to promote efficiency and safety Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, supplies, and building materials Assist skilled workers, contractors, and other team members as needed Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment Inspect tools and equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns Drive a company work truck when authorized and qualified Tow, back, or maneuver a utility or work trailer when authorized and qualified Communicate progress, problems, and material needs to the appropriate supervisor Complete other related duties based on project and property needs Required Qualifications Valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation to report to assigned jobsites Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and work safely Willingness to perform a variety of indoor and outdoor tasks Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and walking for extended periods Ability to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Clear and respectful communication Professional conduct while working at company, customer, tenant, or homeowner properties Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing assignments Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in general labor, construction, painting, landscaping, property maintenance, or a related field Mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools Basic repair, maintenance, carpentry, or construction skills Experience safely driving a work truck Experience towing, backing, or maneuvering a utility or work trailer Ability to complete assigned work with limited supervision Flexible availability for both scheduled and occasional on-call assignments Compensation and Hours Starting pay is $18.00 per hour for entry-level applicants. Higher starting pay may be available based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, qualifications, reliability, and the ability to independently complete assigned work. Hours will vary depending on workload, availability, and qualifications. We may consider applicants seeking occasional or on-call assignments, part-time work, or approximately 30-40 hours per week.
