Job Description

Full Job Description CLKD is hiring 2-3 experienced Landscape and Hardscape Construction Laborers for immediate full-time positions. Work is available throughout the remainder of the 2026 season and is expected to continue into next year. We are a professional, mid-to-high-end landscape design-build company serving Olympia and the surrounding Thurston County area. We are specifically looking for experienced construction laborers—not entry-level applicants or landscape-maintenance workers.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3-5+ years of hands-on landscape and hardscape construction experience Experience working on new landscape construction and installation projects Experience constructing retaining walls Experience preparing bases and installing pavers Experience building fences Ability to move, stage, load, and unload construction materials Experience digging, trenching, grading, compacting, and preparing installation areas Ability to safely work with gravel, soil, pavers, lumber, concrete materials, plants, tools, and equipment Ability to follow construction plans, instructions, and established installation methods Valid Washington State driver's license Reliable transportation directly to job sites Dependable attendance and punctuality
WHAT WE EXPECT
Follow all jobsite safety requirements and company safety procedures Wear required personal protective equipment, including appropriate work boots, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and high-visibility PPE when required Follow CKLD Employee Handbook policies, jobsite rules, and company procedures Respect clients, coworkers, tools, equipment, and client property Work efficiently as part of a team Maintain a professional, cooperative, and positive attitude Communicate clearly and follow the direction of the crew lead or foreman Report unsafe conditions, injuries, property damage, utility damage, and equipment problems immediately This is physically demanding outdoor construction work performed in changing weather conditions. Applicants must be able to consistently perform the lifting, carrying, digging, shoveling, material handling, and other physical duties required on an active landscape construction site.
COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, demonstrated skill level, dependability, and job performance.
