POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Painting & Construction Crew Leader to join our growing team. This is a field-based, part-time/on-call role with flexible scheduling, typically on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Saturdays. This position is ideal for someone who has a high level of construction experience and is ready to lead others in various construction projects with little instruction . We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly with ownership, and is comfortable with and willing to work with clients directly and provide support with bids and supervise others, while ensuring jobs are completed efficiently. We are currently in a strong growth phase. While hours may vary at the start, work volume is increasing rapidly , and dependable team members will have the opportunity to take on more consistent hours as projects expand. This role offers a clear pathway to full-time employment for candidates who demonstrate reliability and initiative . Key ResponsibilitiesField Execution & Craftsmanship Perform high-quality hands-on work across multiple trades, including: Drywall installation and repair Rough and finish carpentry Framing, painting, flooring, and caulking Demolition and site preparation Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment Maintain clean, organized, and job-ready worksites Leadership & Team Support Provide on-site guidance and instruction to junior team members Lead by example in work quality, efficiency, and professionalism Support crew productivity by stepping in where needed and keeping work moving Autonomy & Communication Execute assigned work with minimal supervision under the direction of ownership or crew leadership Communicate clearly and consistently regarding progress, issues, and job status Follow project specifications while exercising sound judgment in the field Project Support & Estimating Input Contribute practical, trade-based insight during job walks and scope discussions Partner with leadership to identify potential challenges, materials, and labor needs Safety & Compliance Adhere to OSHA and Washington L&I safety standards at all times Use appropriate PPE and proactively address unsafe conditions Ensure work aligns with general contractor classification and compliance requirements Experience & RequirementsExperience 5+ years of experience in construction, general contracting, property maintenance, or multi-trade work Strong working knowledge across multiple trades with the ability to operate independently Core Requirements Proven ability to work independently and lead others in the field Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Application Instructions Qualified candidates must submit a current resume for consideration.
