Job Description
Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving supplies, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks like concrete cutting, plastering, caulking, tile laying, and masonry work Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred Experience with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawing comprehension is highly valued Understanding of safety protocols related to construction site operations including OSHA standards or equivalent regulations Skills in working with various materials such as stucco, drywall (including metal stud framing), masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, restoration work, and heavy lifting tasks
