Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Subcontractor/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of executing diverse building projects, from initial site preparation to finishing touches. Your hands-on expertise and commitment to safety will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of hardscaping, remodeling, and building construction projects, contributing directly to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of building materials such as drywall, stucco, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to meet project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks including window installation, cabinet fitting, and general carpentry work. Support heavy equipment operation when required for site preparation or material handling. Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks like glass installation and hardscape construction. Perform site inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines. Contribute to outdoor hardscaping projects including paving, landscaping, and other hardscape features. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven construction experience with knowledge of building construction processes and materials. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans. Experience with various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry (including trim carpentry), and hardscaping is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols relevant to construction sites. Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Skills in construction estimating, inspection, or project management are a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
