Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Roof Installer/Laborer and be a vital part of transforming residential and commercial properties through expert roofing solutions. In this energetic role, you will assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Duties Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials. Set up ladders safely and use construction safety harnesses to access roofs at various heights. Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and caulking guns to complete roofing tasks efficiently. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure job site. Support the installation of siding, stucco, drywall, trim carpentry, masonry, or other exterior finishing components as needed. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing, metal stud framing, concrete forming, or restoration projects. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and schematics for precise installation or repair work. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety standards throughout outdoor work experiences. Skills Construction estimating knowledge for project planning and material requirements. Proficiency with ladder use and understanding of construction safety harnesses for working at heights. Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards related to roofing and general construction sites. Experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, welding, tile laying, caulking, drywall installation, and trim carpentry. Familiarity with roofing types such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing (including standing seam), single-ply membrane systems, and related installation techniques. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations to ensure compliance on all job sites.
