Job Description

Experienced Carpentry/Cabinetry Laborer Custom Built Inc. is looking for an experienced carpentry/cabinetry laborer. However, we encourage candidates with less experience to apply if they are willing to learn. This position is full time Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40 hours a week plus occasional overtime. Pay starts at $20-$35 per hour based on skill, qualifications, and experience. We are located in the Town of Sheboygan Business Park. Custom Built Inc. has been in business since 2011 and we have a great reputation for manufacturing high quality commercial displays, exhibits, tradeshow booths, custom furniture, and performing light construction work and home repairs. Custom Built Inc. offers a teamwork environment. An ideal candidate would like to be challenged and be self-motivated with an eye for detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position includes, but is not limited to, woodworking, light construction, light plumbing, light electrical work/wiring, metal fabrication, tiling, laminating, and assembling custom high-end displays.
Other duties include:
  • Move, secure, load, and unload materials and deliveries
  • Pull/verify materials and supplies
  • Operate various tools and shop equipment
  • Ability to complete basic property repairs
  • Shop organization and upkeep
Requirements:
While preferred, we are willing to train the right individuals.
  • Occasional heavy lifting
  • General knowledge of electrical and wiring
  • General knowledge of plumbing
  • General knowledge of technology (computers, smartphones, etc.)
  • General knowledge of power tools/equipment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
Qualifications:
While preferred, we are willing to work with the right individuals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Be able to drive straight truck size vehicles
  • Organized/Detail oriented
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Must be willing to learn
Employment Type and Benefits:
  • Full Time - 40 hours and occasional overtime
