Job Description Summary- Seeking an asphalt laborer who will be responsible for shoveling and raking asphalt material along with other responsibilities as needed Requirements
- Physical ability to operate equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time. Normal shift is 8-12 hours
- The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Properly follow all Company policies and OSHA guidelines for a safe working environment
- Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project
- Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery and other equipment used on the job site
- Must be able to shovel and rake asphalt material
- Responsible for upkeep of tools and work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Out of town/county/state work may be required
- Ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with ability to learn in a fast paced environment
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job
