Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing. Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, formwork construction, metal stud framing, and drywall installation. Perform concrete-related work such as rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and cutting to specifications. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans and schematics. Carry out masonry work including stucco application, bricklaying, and restoration projects. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all team members. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumping systems. Experience reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings or schematics accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating principles and ability to follow detailed construction plans. Proficiency in concrete mixing, pouring, finishing techniques including caulking and tile laying. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures related to working on construction projects. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or other heavy equipment safely when required. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety protocol adherence and effective communication on-site. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction!
