Job Description

Interior Supply Inc. is looking for a Stocker/Laborer for our Fairmont, WV branch! Who Are We?: We're a Building Material Distributor with branches across Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan and West Virginia. We specialize in commercial projects but also serve specialty and residential jobs. We offer full benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and more after 90 days. The Laborer/Stocker plays a crucial role in supporting our truck drivers and team members to ensure swift and safe customer order deliveries to job sites.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in loading and unloading materials using various methods such as manual handling, carts, forklifts, or Boom crane. Aiding the driver in preparing the truck for the road, securing the load, and completing pre-trip duties like Teledyne mounting and strap or curtain buckling. This process is repeated after each drop-off to ensure readiness for the next journey. Inspecting job sites upon arrival to identify safety and operational hazards, and collaborating with the driver and team members to address any obstacles. Assisting the driver in maneuvering trucks, especially in challenging turns, maneuvers, or when backing up at job sites and other locations. Returning to the home base to reload for the next delivery, whether it's on the same day or the following morning. Helping with customer loading in the yard, storing materials, and performing general warehouse and yard maintenance as required. Being a dependable and versatile team member ready to provide assistance whenever needed!

Ability to lift and carry 100lbs on a continuous basis
