Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately. Assist with erosion control measures to protect the environment and ensure project compliance. Operate power tools and equipment safely while performing tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials. Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of construction materials to support various project phases. Implement workplace safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards, including respiratory protection and climbing safety procedures. Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal performance on site. Support the installation of erosion control barriers and other site-specific safety measures. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for all team members. Experience Proven industrial or commercial construction experience with a focus on heavy lifting, manual handling, and equipment operation. Familiarity with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and experience implementing safety regulations on active job sites. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance is highly desirable. Experience working with power tools, heavy machinery, and climbing at heights safely. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety compliance.
