Job Description

Valtronics Solutions is seeking reliable, hardworking Shop Builders / Laborers to join our shop team. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced builders and electricians, handle materials, operate power tools, and ensure the shop runs safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilites may include:
Measure, cut, prep, and assemble materials (primarily wood and metal) according to specs and blueprints. Safely operate shop tools and equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, sanders, and hand tools. Load, unload, and organize raw materials and finished products using forklifts or pallet jacks. Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace by sweeping, organizing tools, and managing shop debris. Assist senior builders and electricians with heavy lifting, staging, and final quality checks. Other assigned tasks within the shop.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years of experience in construction, carpentry, metal fabrication, or general shop labor preferred.
Tool Knowledge:
Proficient with basic power tools and precision measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers).
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor in a shop environment.
Certifications:
Valid driver's license required; Forklift certification is a major plus.
Mindset:
Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a strict commitment to workplace safety.
