A Construction Helper or Worker works at construction sites and projects. Works as a skilled trades worker such as bricklayer, carpenter, painter, electrician or mason, or operates construction equipment.
Highmark Construction Group is hiring a dependable Construction Laborer to join our residential remodeling and construction team in Laramie, Wyoming. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, and wants to develop long-term construction skills. This position will assist with residential remodels, basement finishes, bathrooms, decks, framing, drywall, doors, windows, trim, demolition, and general construction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with demolition, framing, drywall, trim, flooring, and general carpentry Load, unload, stage, and protect materials Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Use hand and power tools safely Follow project plans and instructions Protect customers' homes and personal property Complete punch-list and cleanup work Work independently on assigned tasks as skills develop
REQUIREMENTS
Construction and carpentry experience preferred Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physical construction work Ability to work from ladders and in confined areas Reliable attendance and punctuality Professional appearance and respectful communication Willingness to learn and accept correction Must pass a background check

COMPENSATION
$25 to $30 per hour, based on verified experience and ability Full-time position Opportunities for increased responsibility and advancement Consistent local work in Laramie and surrounding areas
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday, generally during daytime construction hours. Occasional schedule adjustments may be required based on project needs.
