Duties Conduct private music lessons tailored to each child's skill level and learning style across specified instruments such as violin, voice, trombone, piano, or guitar. Develop customized lesson plans that promote technical skill, musical understanding, and enjoyment of music. Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Prepare students for performances or recitals as appropriate. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment that encourages creativity and confidence. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming lessons. Manage scheduling of lessons efficiently to accommodate students' availability. Keep accurate records of lesson plans and student achievements. Experience Proven experience teaching children in a private lesson setting for the specified instruments (violin, voice, trombone, piano, guitar). Strong proficiency in the instrument(s) they will teach. Prior experience designing engaging lesson plans for young learners is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire children. Relevant certifications or music education qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory if demonstrated proficiency and teaching experience are evident.
