Job Description
Site Supervisor/Competent Person Satori is growing! We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and safety-focused leader to oversee hazardous materials remediation projects - asbestos, lead, mold, etc. As our Site Supervisor/Competent Person , you'll direct and supervise field crews, ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and State of Alaska regulations, manage on-site safety and handle daily documentation. If you have a background in environmental remediation or related work, enjoy leading teams and thrive in fast-paced field conditions, we want to hear from you. The Role Supervise all hazardous materials abatement activities (asbestos, lead, mold, etc), ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, IICRC and other regulatory agencies Verify and document compliance with project specifications, work plans, permits and regulatory requirements daily via computer & tech platforms Coordinate with project managers, clients, agency representatives, and others to ensure smooth project execution Train and mentor crew members on hazmat abatement and safe work practices Respond to and manage on-site emergencies or unforeseen hazards effectively Inspect equipment and tools for operational readiness and compliance Travel to project sites throughout Alaska Requirements 2+ years of relevant hands-on hazardous materials remediation experience - or other related field experience 40 Hour Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor certification (preferred) 40 Hour Hazwoper, OSHA 30 Hour certifications (preferred) Articulate communicator Self-motivated, ambitious, able to work collaboratively, willing to problem-solve Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel and Word Valid drivers license, clean background check Willingness to travel and work flexible hours Benefits Required training provided Performance-based bonus opportunities Paid time off Paid holidays 401 (k) eligibility after one year of employment 401 (k) matching Per diem for work-related travel Continuing education/professional development opportunities Cell phone stipend Healthcare stipend $38+ hourly, DOE Prevailing wage opportunities (state and/or federal Davis Bacon)
