Job Description

DEC Fire & Water Restoration is hiring a Construction Project Manager for our North Alabama location. This is not a "manage two jobs and coast" gig — you'll be running 15-20 active jobs at any given time. If that number makes you sweat, this isn't the role for you. If it sounds like a typical Tuesday, keep reading. What you'll do: Manage the full lifecycle of restoration and reconstruction projects — from scope to close-out Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and schedules across a high volume of concurrent jobs Write and manage estimates in Xactimate Communicate with adjusters, homeowners, and commercial clients to keep jobs moving and everyone informed Keep jobs on budget, on schedule, and out of the "why is this still open" pile What you need: Proficiency in Xactimate — this is non-negotiable, not a "willing to learn" situation At least 3 years in the restoration industry, OR proven experience managing crews and subcontractors in construction/renovation Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Strong organizational skills — juggling this many jobs without a system is how things fall through the cracks You will need a valid driver's license with a CLEAN driving record to drive a company vehicle.
