Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects (Multi-Story & Elderly) from inception to completion whether the project is a renovation of an existing complex or a new build. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, manage subcontractors, manage the construction schedule, work with the Admin team on weekly calls to ensure you have all the tools you need for success, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, technical drawing review, and team supervision will drive project success while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and workflow. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software; monitor progress regularly. Supervise on-site teams, including crew management, task delegation, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards; conduct safety meetings and inspections. Review contracts, change orders, and procurement documents; manage project documentation using Prolog or equivalent systems. Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets design specifications and industry standards. Manage construction budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality. Lead construction drawing review sessions; interpret technical drawings accurately for field implementation. Utilize construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam for project documentation, reporting, and collaboration. Supervise subcontractor activities; coordinate construction schedule adjustments as needed for project efficiency. Meet with the Admin team weekly via Teams to go over your budget/schedule and vocalize all needs for the job. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on-site. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA safety standards and federal safety regulations. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, and Prolog. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong project scheduling skills with experience using Primavera P6 or similar tools to develop and maintain detailed schedules. Excellent managerial communication skills; capable of managing multiple teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment. Hands-on experience with construction site safety management practices; ability to enforce safety protocols consistently. Familiarity with budgeting processes; ability to track costs meticulously and implement financial controls. Construction site experience in commercial or infrastructure projects is essential; pipeline experience is a plus. Knowledge of construction regulations related to quality control, safety procedures, and environmental standards. Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.
