JOB SUMMARY
The Field Administrator will oversee active construction projects and serve as a vital link between clients, project teams and regulatory agencies. This position involves extensive fieldwork, client interaction and coordination with contractors and inspectors to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conduct weekly site visits for assigned projects Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings Perform state mandated inspections with the appropriate state building inspector Submit detailed reports for each job site visit Provide onsite project coordination and track progress against plans and specifications Assist in managing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals and change order requests Maintain and strengthen client relationships on behalf of the firmRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Administration or related field preferred 5+ years' experience in the construction industry Knowledge and understanding of commercial construction processes, products and services Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications Problem solving and conflict resolution management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Periodic daily travel is required and driving record must be in good standing No company vehicle provided; mileage reimbursement is available in accordance with company reimbursement policies and current IRS mileage ratesBenefits:
