Job Description

Waldrop Construction Company is a licensed homebuilder in the state of Alabama. Our company specializes in the construction of multi-unit residential and light commercial projects, and we're based in Tuscaloosa. We have an opening for an experienced Construction Superintendent who can help with the day to day tasks of homebuilding. Duties to include, but are not limited to:
Supervision:
Scheduling and overseeing the work of subcontractors Maintaining a safe and clean job site Keep daily jobsite logs of deliveries, work completed, and inspections Keep good relations with inspectors, architects, engineers and other third parties on the job site.
Site Management:
Ensure job sites are clear of debris and obstacles. Loading and unloading construction materials (lumber, bricks, etc.).
General Labor:
Although project execution primarily relies on subcontractors and hired labor, the role occasionally requires direct involvement, including operating site equipment and directly carrying out construction tasks when necessary. Using hand tools and power tools (with proper training). Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

This is not an exhaustive list and job duties may vary depending on the specific project. Physical strength and stamina are essential for this physically demanding role. Safety is paramount. All employees must adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). We are a growing company and there is room for advancement. Pay is dependent on experience.

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
