Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager to support a complex federal laboratory construction project in Jefferson, Arkansas. This is a full-time, on-site position, and local candidates in Jefferson and the surrounding area are preferred. This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional who enjoys working independently and taking ownership in the field. You will serve as the primary on-site Parsons representative, responsible for coordinating construction-phase activities, documentation, inspections, stakeholder communication, and closeout support. You will also have access to Parsons subject matter experts for specialized support such as cost estimating, schedule reviews, engineering consultation, and commissioning support, as needed. What You'll Be Doing Serve as the day-to-day Parsons point of contact in the field for a major federal project. Coordinate construction activities to support project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and closeout requirements. Manage project documentation and controls, including RFIs, submittals, inspections, deficiencies, record documents, and progress reporting. Perform daily field inspections and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to project leadership. Support change management, turnover, and closeout activities. Required Qualifications 8+ years of field construction experience. Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field, engineering, architecture, business management, or construction management, or equivalent related experience. Strong knowledge of construction processes, field coordination, project documentation, and industry practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and coordinate multiple project functions. OSHA 10-hour training. Ability to obtain required government security/access credentials. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal government construction projects. Experience with renovation, laboratory, industrial, or other complex construction projects. Familiarity with Kahua or similar project management information systems.

Salary Range:
