Duties Onsite Supervision & Field Management Provide consistent onsite supervision across assigned construction projects, ensuring work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standard Lead construction projects by developing detailed schedules using and managing all phases from planning through execution. Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA and federal construction safety standards. Review and interpret technical drawings, building plans, blueprints, and construction drawings to coordinate project scope with field teams. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project schedules. Oversee quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with building codes. Coordinate construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans proactively to meet project milestones. Administer contracts, change orders, and project documentation using construction management software, BuilderTrend. Oversee and manage team members' daily productivity, efficiency, and adherence to project schedules and budgets. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to keep work sequenced and on track Identify and resolve field issues proactively, escalating to the COO or Superintendent when needed. Project Management & Planning Manage assigned projects and plan guidelines from start to finish, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, and budget Adhere to project schedules and budgetary requirements, flagging variances early Maintain awareness of all changes made on a project and ensure every change order is documented and executed according to Charis's established process Participate in weekly leadership and planning meetings, providing accurate, timely project updates Communication & Reporting Communicate clearly and consistently with the team, leadership, customers, and all key project stakeholders Capture and submit weekly jobsite photos and progress updates to support weekly construction reports Serve as a dependable point of contact in the field, ensuring information flows accurately between the jobsite and the office Team Leadership & Culture Lead, coach, and hold jobsite team members accountable to Charis's standards, safety protocols, and core values. Champion company guidelines, core values, and regulations across every project and every interaction. Build trust and credibility with crews, subcontractors, and customers through consistent, professional leadership Safety & Compliance Adhere to and enforce all company safety protocols and OSHA standards on every jobsite Champion a company-wide culture of jobsite safety, proactively identifying and correcting hazards Ensure all documentation, permitting, and compliance requirements are met for assigned projects Experience Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction management software. Demonstrated ability supervising construction sites with a comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and federal safety protocols. Experience reading building plans, blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and coordinating construction schedules effectively. Strong leadership skills in managing teams on-site including crew management, subcontractor supervision, and client communication. Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating (including construction estimating), and quality assurance practices in the construction industry. Familiarity with managing contracts, change orders, and ensuring compliance with all relevant construction regulations. Hands-on experience supervising heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a focus on safety management and schedule coordination.
