After-School Clerk Job Summary Elite Learning is seeking a dependable, organized, and friendly After-School Clerk to support our licensed Out-of-School Time (OST) program for the 2026-2027 school year , The After-School Clerk plays an important role in the daily operation of the program by maintaining attendance records, assisting with student dismissal, supporting communication with families, and providing administrative support to the Site Supervisor. This position helps ensure compliance with Arkansas Out-of-School Time licensing requirements while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for students, families, and staff. 12:30 PM•6:00 PM Part-Time Key Responsibilities Program Administration Maintain accurate student attendance records using Jackrabbit and other program management systems. Assist with student enrollment records and required licensing documentation. Prepare attendance reports and maintain organized program files. Provide administrative support to the Site Supervisor and program staff. Student Check-In & Check-Out Assist with daily student sign-in and sign-out procedures. Verify authorized individuals during student pick-up. Maintain accurate dismissal documentation in accordance with program policies. Ensure student accountability throughout dismissal. Parent & Staff Communication Welcome parents, guardians, and visitors professionally. Answer general questions and direct concerns to the appropriate staff member. Maintain confidentiality of student, family, and staff information. Communicate effectively with school personnel and program staff. Safety & Compliance Follow all Arkansas Out-of-School Time licensing policies and procedures. Assist with maintaining required licensing records and documentation. Report incidents, concerns, or safety issues to the Site Supervisor. Support emergency drills and accountability procedures. Professional Conduct Participate in required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Support daily program operations and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older . High school diploma or GED required. Must pass all required criminal background checks and fingerprinting in accordance with Arkansas OST licensing requirements. Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification. Previous experience in an administrative, school, childcare, customer service, or youth program setting preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, email, and attendance software. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent interaction with students, families, school personnel, and staff. Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Ability to actively assist during student dismissal and emergency procedures. Occasional lifting of office supplies and program materials (up to 25 pounds).
